Today, the PDF is available to managers to identify people’s development needs, but De Nora is moving towards a more transparent and shared model. 

In this perspective —aimed at strengthening De Nora’s learning culture and encouraging people to focus on their own development—  the People Development Framework is accessible to everyone, allowing individuals to know their own cluster and gain a clearer understanding of their training needs

3. Individual Development Plans at De Nora

PDF is the map on which growth is built through Individual Development Plans (IDP) tailored for every person.  

This tool is used within the Competence Assessment process, aimed at evaluating skills and identifying development needs.  

The IDP puts the directions of the PDF into practice, creating a customized action plan, co-designed by the manager and the colleague, based on the improvement areas identified during the Competence Assessment.   

Thanks to this approach, called “Drive your journey” (Link to FS18), everyone actively contributes to the definition of their IDP and to the identification of development actions. People are encouraged to take control over their professional growth journey, fostering personal accountability for improving their competencies.
